FLNR ACCELERATOR COMPLEXES
    DC-72

    DC-72 cyclotron complex is designed for production and using in medicine and industry of:
    - short-lived isotopes (123I, 201Tl, 111In, 67Ga, 81Rb, 81mKr, 82Sr and others) for SPECT diagnostics
    - alpha-emitters (211At and others)
    - ultra short-lived isotopes (15O, 11C, 13N, 18F and others) for PET-diagnostics
    - proton and neutron therapy
    - track membranes of 10 6 - 3·10 9 cm-2 pore density and 5 mcm to 0.05 mcm cylinder pore diameter
    - new types of membranes for science, medicine and biology
    - metal nanostructures such as nanowires, submicron tubes
    - superficial implantation
    - synthesis of nanomillimeter cluster structures.

    Cyclotron magnetic structure
    Cyclotron magnetic structure consists of compact E-type magnet yoke, magnet inducing winding and a set of alignment coils. Magnet pole diameter - 2600 mm, number of direct sectors - 4, specific gap maximum magnetic field - 1.5 T, magnet weight - 320 t, maximum power of the inducing windings - 53 kW, Overall dimensions - 5,6 2,7 3,1 m.

    Cyclotron accelerating system
    Constructively DC-72 cyclotron high-frequency accelerating system consists of two quarter-wave-length resonators, placed upright and downright the cyclotron median plane. Operating frequency range is 17 - 34 MHz. Dees are placed in two opposite valleys, dee maximum amplitude voltage is 60 kV. Ions are accelerated at 2, 3, 4 harmonics of resonance system frequency, dee voltage phasing accuracy is equal to 1. Two high-frequency generators of 35 kW each supply cyclotron accelerating system with electricity.
